Your brain lies to you.

It is the 15th worksheet on your mother and the words are coming from your head. You feel blocked, unable to write from your heart.

You have broken up with your girlfriend. You write worksheets and after doing The Work - you experience relief only to have the pain return a little while later.

Sometimes you write worksheets which seem to be repeating the same thoughts over and over again.

This is common and not your fault.

Your brain works to prevent you from feeling bad when you are stressed.

But how can you think if not with your brain?

My name is Lindsay and I support those who practice the Work in writing more effective worksheets.

I run free online workshops where you are taught to create a 3D visual representation of your worksheet using Playmobil figures. Next, you are shown how to write a worksheet using this image.

I also work one-on-one with select clients.

Let’s Create a Stage for Your Story.

Lindsay led a well organized and informative workshop.  He was very knowledgeable and answered questions in a complete and efficient manner. The workshop was not only didactic but practical. Would definitely take another workshop with Lindsay again.

My Story

I studied Classical Pipe Organ in my 20's and fell in love with the music of J S Bach. I still play the piano for both church and a community choir.

I melt every time I hear Ella Fitzgerald singing - I adore her voice.

I have a soft spot for desserts with fruit in them.

I value service and Queen Elizabeth II represents the epitome of service to me. One of my most memorable days was waking up and deciding to meet her. She was visiting Australia at the time. I took the 3 hour train trip to the city and managed to get through all the security checks and I did it. My sister rang me up who lives 800 kilometres away to ask if that was me on TV meeting the Queen.

I was born in New Zealand. As a Polynesian, the church was the focus of all community life and it dominated and influenced my worldview. Being of service was ingrained into our psyches every week. At 19 I moved to study in Australia and ended up working for the church as a teacher. I loved it. It was gut wrenching to walk away 20 years later because I, as 'Adam' , had fallen in love with 'Steve' and not 'Eve.' I was thrown into an 'existential crisis.'

I tried all sorts of therapy to get me through this depressing time. The Play of Life approach was the only thing that worked. Eventually, I became a trained Play of Life Practitioner in 2008.

One of the joys of my life was coming across The Work of Byron Katie in 2010. It is one of the most powerful tools of self realisation. I became a Certified Facilitator for The Work in 2019.
